Fish n Crab Deep Sea Charter

The ultimate Deep Sea Fishing Charters on the Sunshine Coast. Our fishing charters are perfect for singles, private or corporate groups. Your amazing Queensland deep sea fishing trip begins one we get on the water as we start trolling for pelagic species such as Mackerel & Wahoo, followed by setting spanner crab trays. Shortly after which we head off to enjoy reef fishing chasing a huge variety of seasonal fish including Snapper, Whaoo , Amberjack, Tuna, Pearl Perch, Yellow Tail Kingfish and Cobia. The crab trays are winched up on the way back , the crabs are cooked on board and shared or enjoyed.

Crusader I’ is our 55 ft (17m) vessel equipped with two toilets, microwave, fridge, television and air-conditioned cabin. Crusader 1 is perfect for day trips with it’s massive amount of deck space and comfort. Operated by highly qualified and experienced crew, you are in for a fishing charter experience to remember! 

Fishing Charters Full Day

Our full day charters will head out up to 30Nm offshore to the Barwon Banks reef system. Well known for it’s high quality fishing this is the most sought after fishing location on the Sunshine Coast. All non achoholic drinks, snack, lunch and use of equipment are included.

Fishing Charters Half Day and 3/4 Day

On these 2 off shore fishing charters we head out to the smaller 7, 9 and 12 mile reefs. Half days are aimed squarley at the novice fishermean wanting to experience deep sea fishing for the first time. No lunch is provided on these trips.

We also offer night fishing, party cruises (for up to 22 passengers) and corporate days (up to 34 accross 2 boats)

Price: $220 (Full Day), $180 (3/4 Day), $140 (Half Day)

Maximum Passengers: 22 one boat or 34 accross 2 boats.

Minimum Passengers: 1 (we do require 10 booked passengers to head out)

Departure Time: 5:30am, 11.30AM and 3.30PM (Charter type dependant)

Departure Point: The Wharf Marina. next to Underwater World MOOLOOLABA

Return Time: 3pm (Full Day)

Inclusions: Rods, reels, bait and tackle. Fresh (cold) Lunch, snacks, fruit, morning coffee and tea, soft drinks and water. BYO alcohol, sunscreen and hat.

We also use the latest fishing equipment from Okuma and Penn, and operate the very latest in fish finding equipment for your enjoyment.

We take single or group bookings and operate 7 days a week, subject to weather conditions and minimum passenger numbers.
We offer ½ day, ¾ day, full day, mega day and custom fishing charters.

BOATS

F.V Crusader 1 is the largest fishing vessel operating out of Mooloolaba, Queensland. She is a 55 ft (17m) conquest by Sea Chrome Marine and is powered by a 655 hp Detroit turbo diesel engine. Designed to give you a safe & extremely comfortable ride. There is plenty of space on the fully covered deck for fishing and no passenger comfort has been overlooked.

An Air conditioned cabin, 2 toilets, TV, galley with mirowave, fridge and esspresso coffee machine plus state of the art latest electronics & safety equipment. Crusader 1 is surveyed to 200nm.

Instructions:

What to bring: Any alcohol in cans only please. A hat, sunglasses and enclosed footwear are recommended. If you are bringing an eski to take you catch home, please leave it in your car as we will bag and ice your fish for you so tha you can then place it in your eski later. Eski’s take up a lot of deck space we prefer to have available for you, our customer!

What is included: All softdrink, water, snacks, bait, use of rods n reels as well as early morning coffee or tea. On our 9 and 11 Hour charters (Full and Mega days) a fresh (cold) lunch is also included.
