Why Not Fishing Charter is operated by two experts, knowledgeable and trusted people namely Nick Tromp who is the crew and David Clayfield who is the skipper of the vessel used.

David Clayfield was a sailmaker by trade and an enthusiastic yachtsman during his early teen days. Through his great experience, he was able cross the Atlantic Crossing, Mediterranean and Caribbean Sea, and racing in the Sydney to Hobart race. Moreover, he was able to established and run his own business with a strong and solid foundation. Being a keen fisherman, he always considers it as a privilege and honour to divulge enthusiastic fisherman to the unique fishing tours around the clean and clear waters of Eyre Peninsula and the West coast. David has been the head of Why Not Fishing Charters for 9 years, welcoming guest aboard CRUSADERS III and giving them the best and memorable fishing experience with Why Not Fishing Charter.

On the other hand, Nick Tromp is a member aboard on the CRUSADER III whose role is to provide the needs and safety of their guests on board. He is also known crew for he is a very good communicator and he always makes your charter alive, memorable and safe. Nick is also expert and knowledgeable crew when it comes to local west coast waters.

A 65 inches Conquest fiberglass vessel namely CRUSADER III is used to take their passengers on their desired and reserved tours. This vessel is designed to provide a safe, comfortable and stable environment while on board. Furthermore, she can hold up to 20 Day fishing, 50 on a pleasure cruise and hold only 12 guests on overnight charter.

CRUSADER III is with air-conditioned cabins, 2KVA Genset that provides ample power for coffee machine, 240 volts outlets for camera and phone re-chargers and also for bread maker machine, twin toilets and showers, on-deck freezers and blast freezer, live bait tank and metal halide night lighting, on board desalinator for fresh water and etc. CRUSADER III has the capability to go to some remote locations where the fishing is very much untapped.
